Summary of off-site consequence analysis
Off-site consequence analysis is a document that should be prepared in order to prevent chemical accidents in advance by evaluating the effects on the human and the environment around when a chemical accident occurs.
Target subject for preparation
According to Article 23 of the Chemical Control Act (preparation and submission of the chemical accident off-site consequence analysis), the site handling hazardous chemicals shall submit an off-site consequence analysis.
※ In case of the site that uses existing hazardous chemicals, it is required to submit off-site consequence analysis in accordance with subparagraph 6 (Measures for Preparing and Submitting off-site consequence analysis) of the Enforcement Law of the Chemical Control Act.
