Risk Management Plan

Summary of risk management plan

The risk management plan is the system that is designed to minimize the risk of chemical accidents by evaluating the potential risk of substances and facilities to be handled at the site dealing with the substance requiring preparation for accidents a volume threshold and preparing an emergency response system that can be used in the event of a chemical accident.

Target subject for preparation

Any person who handles substance requiring preparation for accidents over a volume threshold designated by the decree of Ministry of Environment shall submit a risk management plan under the Article 41 and 48 of enforcement rule of the Chemical Control Act to the Minister of Environment every five years.


※ In case of the site where handles existing substance requiring preparation for accidents, a risk management plan shall be submitted in accordance with the subparagraph 10 (Measures for Preparing and Submitting a Risk Management Plan) of the enforcement rule of the Chemical Control Act.
