The notification of August 5th,
Partial amendment of regulations on classification, labeling, etc.
of chemical substances (enforced starting from the date of notification),
is shared herein for your reference.
NIER Notification No. 2020-25: Partial amendment of regulations on classification, labeling, etc. of chemical substances
- Amendment of Attached table 4-A Toxic substance serial number
1) Sections for the serial numbers of 97-1-12, 2014-1-694, 2019-1-930, 2019-1-931, and 2019-1-951 shall be amended
2) Sections for the serial numbers from 2020-1-970 to 2020-1-1000 shall be newly established
- Amendment of Attached table 4-E Accident preparedness substances (sections 21 and 91 shall be amended)
「Regulations on classification, labeling, etc. of chemical substances」(NIER Notification No. 2020-8, April 1, 2020) shall
be amended and notified as follows in accordance with Article 14-1 of 「Act on the Registration and Evaluation, etc. of Chemical Substances」, Paragraph 2-2-A of Article 10, Article 10-3, Article 24, and Article 28 of Enforcement Rule of the same Act, Article 16-1 of 「Chemicals Control Act」, and Article 12-4 of Enforcement Rule of the same Act.
