[Chemtopia] Partial amendment of Designation and notification of toxic substances is shared herein. (Date of announcement: November 25th)

• NIER Notification No. 2020-50

  - In establishing Korean Industrial Standards, the following pre-announcement and notification shall be made in accordance with Paragraph 1, Article 5 (Establishment of industrial standards, etc.) of the Industrial Standardization Act and Article 16 (Pre-announcement of establishment of industrial standards, etc.) of Enforcement Decree of the same Act to inform the nation, the industry, and the relevant agencies of the reasons for the establishment and its main contents in advance in order to hear opinions on the matter.

• NIER Notification No. 2020-51

  - 「Designation and notification of toxic substances」 notified by NIER (NIER Notification No. 2020-20, 2020. 7. 27.) shall be amended and notified as follows.

• NIER Notification No. 2020-52

  - 「Regulations on classification, labeling, etc. of chemical substances」 (NIER Notification No. 2020-25, 2020.8.5.) shall be amended and notified as follows in accordance with

             Paragraph 1, Article 14 of 「Act on the Registration and Evaluation, etc. of Chemical Substances」 and Item A, Paragraph 2-2 of Article 10, Article 10-3, Article 24, and Article 28 of Enforcement Rule of the same Act, and in accordance with

             Paragraph 1, Article 16 of 「Chemicals Control Act」 and Paragraph 4, Article 12 of Enforcement Rule of the same Act.
